Ian Clarke was selected to play for the Barbarians at the end of the All Black's 1963/64 tour. He played against the All Blacks, and scored their only points in their 36 - 3 loss, with a goal from a mark. Clarke's test career for the All Blacks included 11 seasons after his debut on the 1953 tour, and 24 caps. On Era-Adjusted Caps he rates 89.19 caps.
